Storage: Your data lives at home

Everything you type into Oaky — your chat history, display name, profile picture, settings — is stored using localStorage on your own device. We literally cannot see it. Your conversations never leave your machine unless you send a message to our backend for an AI response.

AI Messages: Fresh requests only

When you hit send, your message travels to our backend server. We do not log, store, or archive your messages after the response is sent. The backend is a fresh request each time — no persistent user identity on our end.

Cookies & Tracking

No analytics trackers. No third-party ad network pixels. Oaky doesn't use cookies at all — preference storage is all localStorage, which stays on your device.

Optional Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, we use your public profile info only to display your avatar and name inside the app — locally. We don't store it on a server.
